DECREE OF ESTABLISHMENT

Mission Station of St. Vincent Ferrer in Canramos, Tanauan, Leyte

Since the people from Barangay Canramos, Tanauan, Leyte has earnestly requested thet their spiritual and pastoral needs be effectively ministered; and in response to the deep desire and felt need of the people as shown by their wonderful enthusiasm and interest in helping and supporting the various projects and activities initiated by the aforementioned barangay, and after having duly consulted the Parish Priest of Assumption of Our Lady Parish and the Vicariate of Palo,

I, PEDRO R. DEAN, Archbishop of Palo, hereby solemnly decree the canonical estblishment of the Mission Station of the St. Vincent Ferrer in Cansramos, Tanauan, Leyte with all the rights and priveledges accrued to such an entity in accordance with the Code of Canon Law, and our Archdiocesan Statutes and Decrees.

The territorial jurisdiction of this Mission Station will be composedof the following barangays: Canramos, Lapay, Tugop, Amanluran, Arado, Linao, Cogon, Pago, Maribi, and Malaguicay.

The endowment of the new Mission Station and its benefice shall consist in voluntary offerings of the faithful and the stole fees as agreed upon according to the arancel of the Ecclesiastical Province of Palo and in the Properties which the new Mission Station will acquire in the fututre.

Moreover, I designate the Chapel St. Vincent Ferrer in Canramos to be the temporary official chapel of the New Mission Station. Said chapel shall have the right to keep habitually the Blessed Sacrament under the usual conditions, to posses a baptismal fort, to have the sacraments administered therein, and to emjoy all the other rights which belongs to a Mission Station.
